RIP
According to information from RMC Sport, out of the six lots put on the market by the LFP for the reallocation of TV rights for the French championship (4 in L1 and 2 in L2), no candidate has reached the reserve price.

The worst-case scenario feared by the Professional Football League has come true. Dropped by Canal + and beIN Sports, who did not wish to participate in the call for tenders for the TV rights of the French football championships, the steering committee noted with dismay that the offers submitted in the morning, for the reallocation lots sold by the Sino-Spanish group Mediapro did not correspond to the expectations of the League. According to our information, out of the six lots marketed by the LFP (four in Ligue 1 and two in Ligue 2), no candidate has reached the reserve price.

This is an additional snub for the LFP, which hoped for an overall minimum of around 300 million euros, in addition to the lot that beIN Sports sublicensed to Canal +, which was not called into play during this call offers.

Over-the-counter discussions could follow in the coming days and concerns will resume again for the clubs hard hit by the consequences of this economic crisis related to TV rights. The fear will be all the stronger as the LFP and Canal + are in the midst of a legal dispute.

Canal +, which broadcasts the remaining 20% of Ligue 1 (with two posters on weekends) for 330 million euros per year, indeed considers that it has "overvalued" the value of these matches in the context of 2018 and wishes that all the meetings are put back to competition in a global call for tenders. The group has appealed to the Paris Commercial Court to this effect, with a hearing scheduled for February 19

According to our information, by the end of the season, Canal+ has undertaken to pay the famous lot 3 to the end, or three times 56 million euros, and has decided to add 35 million, or a total of about 200 million euros for club finances. This would ultimately make a total of 670 million euros in TV rights revenues over the season.
Klubai gaus kažkur €100m mažiau nei praėjusių metų TV deal'as ir kažkur €450m mažiau, nei turėjo sumokėti Mediapro. Na bet šįkart bent jau tikrai gaus lėšas.

O tai Ok, šitas deal’as 2020-21 sezonui. Po sezono vėl naujos paieškos ir derybos?

Nimes serviruojanti kol kas blogiausią futbolą lygoj atleido savo trenerį. Šis sezonas kol kas skalpuoja managerius be gailesčio.
Po 23 turų treneriukus jau keitė šie klubai:

PSG
OM
Dijon
Nantes
Nice
Metz
Nimes

McCourt šitas visas spekuliacijas paneigė. Jis niekur nesitraukia ir niekam nieko neparduoda..

Yoann Gourcuff vaibas eina :romance-hearteyes:

Palei transfermarkt jis aplamai 8 asistus turi.

The LFP's Board of Directors met today to take stock of the financial situation of professional football for the 2020/2021 season following the agreement reached with Canal + last Thursday on audiovisual rights.

In terms of overall revenue, the landing is € 759.1 million instead of the € 1,307.1 million budgeted by the clubs for the 2020/2021 fiscal year. These losses in audiovisual income confirm and worsen the forecasts of the president of the DNCG, Jean-Marc Mickeler, who in December 2020 foresaw "a loss of € 800 million for French football". To date these losses already amount to more than 1 billion euros (excluding the impact of the transfer window) if we add the consequences of the matches behind closed doors.

In this context, the measures already taken by the government for the current season (the order of € 100 million excluding PGE for professional football) last November have unfortunately turned out to be insufficient or inappropriate to continue the activity of the sector. Especially since these announcements did not take into account the continuation of the closed doors in 2021.

Consequently, the LFP requests an emergency meeting with the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, and the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports to receive the leaders of the LFP and a delegation of clubs to build an emergency support plan.

There is no question here of asking the state to compensate for the drop in TV rights, or the failure of Mediapro. On these issues, the clubs have already made great efforts to adapt to this major drop in income, both through salary negotiations with their players and through the reforms that the LFP is preparing to ensure its future. However, it is essential that the state participate in helping professional clubs and their shareholders to overcome the emergencies that the COVID-19 crisis has generated.

The survival of the professional football sector is at stake, an all cultural and economic heritage cannot be allowed to go up in smoke today.
