Crystal Palace are advancing in talks to appoint Pierre Sage as new head coach, agreement close.

Sage has decided to leave RC Lens, as @FabriceHawkinshas reported. It’s over. 👋🏼
Thomasson, Said out, gali būti ir daugiau išvykimų.

Leverkusen wanted to appoint Filipe Luis and negotiations were advanced as revealed.

The problem: Luis only holds the CONMEBOL coaching licence, not the UEFA Pro Licence. Leverkusen were in contact with UEFA to find a solution, but the process took time. Luis did not want to wait, especially as AS Monaco were also pushing for him.

Monaco are now prepared to pay fines of up to €25,000 per match if necessary. If no special exemption is granted, his CONMEBOL licence would automatically be recognised as a UEFA Pro Licence after three years as a head coach. Luis has been Flamengo head coach for around 1.5 years.

Vos 58 metai..

« We have the very great sadness to announce to you the passing of our dad and husband Éric Roy.

For three and a half years, Dad had been fighting against pancreatic cancer.

Throughout all that time, he continued to live with a strength that still impresses us, sustained by the love of his family, by football, by his work, and by that passion that never left him.

What he accomplished in recent years will remain exceptional for us. Going through this ordeal while supporting a club, a team, a story as powerful as this one speaks volumes about the man he was.

Dad was deeply kind, tender, upright, and honest. He knew how to encourage, to pass on knowledge, to push others to surpass themselves, to become the best version of themselves. He had that demanding nature, that fairness, and that humanity.

He loved football in an absolute way. His adventure at Stade Brestois was one of the most beautiful moments of his life. It gave him energy, joy, a reason to keep going, even in the most difficult moments. With his players, he had built a rare and magnificent bond. He loved them deeply, and he was proud, deeply proud, to be their coach.

To the Brest supporters, we want to say thank you. Your welcome, your support, your fervor, and your love touched him deeply. That strength accompanied him far more than you can imagine. Dad always told us that this chant you made, he would take it with him.

We know the immense void he will leave behind, but we also know the magnificent imprint he leaves in his wake. An imprint made of passion, loyalty, courage, demandingness, respect, and love of the game.

He will remain for us, his family, his friends, and all those who loved him, a profound source of inspiration. »
